Act One:
Victoria, Texas. January 2017. The town mosque is burnt to the ground following the inauguration, and the perpetrator rung up on federal hate crimes. Childhood best friends Noah and Zain navigate young adulthood as outsiders in their hometown.
Act Two:
Victoria, Texas. October 2023. War erupts in the Middle East. Noah and Zain, now young men, are caught on opposite sides of an ever-widening chasm.
